All
classes are 5- week sessions, except the workshops.
Tuition
is due before classes. No exceptions.
We
do not have audit classes.

enroll students by appointment only.
Adult
BEGINNER & INTERMEDIATE
MONDAYS — 7pm to 10pm
This
adult beginners class starts at age 18 and
up. Some students may have taken a few acting
classes, some may have not. Many perhaps have
worked in commercials or in films as an extra,
or featured extra however these students have
the desire to learn film acting, the craft
and broaden their acting skills in general.
Many
have the desire to work in the film industry
and want to explore a different type of acting
other than theater or commercials or being
an extra also having the desire to work more
professional in film or commercials.
This
class teaches the craft of method acting also
venturing into the
technical side of film for a better understanding
of the process of filmmaking and film acting.
Students
will learn how to work with directors and
the technical crew.
This
class is very active in scenes with other
actors. Quick study. Instrumental craftwork.
Monologues,
The
lingo of filmmaking (meaning the language)
This
class is taught by Director, Carolyn SeRine.

Tuesday's 7pm to 10pm
This
class is geared to those who have never taken
an acting class have no experience in acting
but desire to learn the craft of acting or
perhaps continue into acting.
The structure of this class is foremost to
learn the craft of acting.
Students will learn; how to handle a script,
cold readings, monologues for audition purposes.
This is an active participation class.
Method acting is focused here.

This class may run overtime
Actors
attending this class are active in their craft
and or are working in commercials and films
also have attended prior acting classes.
You
must have a deeper desire to sharpen your
acting skills into a better understanding
of film acting and want to advance your career
to attend this class.
Actors
attending this class are challenged consistently
in method acting skills for film, technically
and in their instrumental study habits.
Method acting for film is prominent in this
class.
This
class is active in scenes with other actors.
Actors
are critiqued and challenged working at their
own pace to move into the next level of training
also gaining a deeper understanding working
with directors, the technical side of film
acting and filmmaking, scripts, writing, shot
angles, the editor and all crew descriptions.
Actors
gain a better understand of filmmaking from
beginning to end.

Final
Cut Pro Workshop
Two Day Beginners Editing Workshop
Federico
Verardi is an editor from Italy. He has been
working on Final Cut Pro since version 1.0.
He has been editing Television Shows for major
networks such as Warner Bros in LA, Univision,
and Telefutura. Independent films for film
directors such as Carolyn SeRine and Tas Salini.
Music videos which aired on MTV and Latin
MTV, and documentaries for several years.
He graduated with honors from the Art Institute
of Fort Lauderdale Fl, in Digital Media Production.
He
has also worked on film sets as an AC, assistant
camera operator and holds knowledge of film
& digital shoots from beginning to end.
Federico's experience in editing will bring
valuable knowledge and experiences to this
workshop.
Federico
is bi lingual in Spanish & Italian
Workshop Description
A two-day of hands on Final Cut Pro 5, beginner
workshop. Beginner editors will overview
the program and they will come out of the
class with a strong base to become proficient
editors whether for film, television, or
any other type of videos. Topics include:
Basic setup, adjusting and customizing preferences
and settings, capturing video and audio,
various editing and trimming techniques,
ripple, roll, slip and slide tools, audio
editing, multicam, finishing and final output.
Must
bring your own computer.
